Technical Overview

The Aventure M comes out of the box as a Class I ebike with pedal assist. An Aventon throttle can be purchased and easily installed to convert it to Class II operation. Aventon ebikes are built to an IPX6-rated standard—protected against high-pressure water streams from any direction. This allows confident riding in heavy rain, puddles, or mud, but it is not fully waterproof. Avoid using a pressure washer or direct high-pressure sprayer for cleaning, as it may damage components.
