Way more than I expected. Had an issue with the front fender but great bike overall.

This is my first ebike. This bike is amazing!!! It is the most fun I have ever had on any bike owned. The build quality and upgraded parts the bike comes with are second to none! Could not be any happier with this bike.

I ordered a blackbird about three weeks ago and it actually came pretty quick. I thought coming from California to Maryland very easy to put together plenty of power and excellent bike and the bike rack comes in handy overall it's an excellent bike.

Amazing e-bike! Strong, sturdy, and fast. Easiest assembly. Luv the video instructions. Easy shifting. Seems to go 0-30 within a block.

After a friend purchased a “Black Bird Step Thru Bike” I decide to do some research of my own of several brands to include Area 13. I even visited my local E-Bike dealer to see what they had to offer. I also watched several Youtube videos that Kyle made. After a few promptly answered questions through exchanged emails I I decided to Purchase the “Bolton Black Bird” on sale. I also purchased an extra battery & cradle to mount on the rear rack. I went on a 25 mile ride and only used 50% of one battery! Love the bike and can’t say enough good things about it. The shipping was outstanding from Grass Valley CA all the way to Alexandria VA. Additional items were shipped in the same box with the bike and arrived in excellent condition by UPS! I was also delighted to see that my “Black Bird” had already received the upgrades mentioned in Kyles videos. The battery stiffeners & the new box for the controller providing better ventilation. In a world where it’s easy to feel like your just another number that’s not the case with Area 13. Kyle and his team at Area 13 are extremely helpful answering any questions or issues you may have. I am a longtime biker starting from my childhood. I have 2 mtn. bikes ( hardtail and full suspension) , a road bike and 20” bmx cruiser. I also ride a sportbike motorcycles. I shopped and evaluated e bikes for almost 2 years before making my purchase. I recieved my “Blackbird” on May 22 it had light damage from shipping - No fault of Bolton. Upon my delivery inspection I only had to tighten my Chainring and Crank Arms. I called Bolton customer support and Jenny answered taking care of my needs - rushing me my needed parts. This is review is after 3 months of riding. The bike has been flawless and is getting over 40 miles per charge. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I could have purchased the fastest bike available but I chose what I evaluated as the Best Bike with the best spec in its class.
