Having trouble removing a pesky freewheel on a Bafang 750 watt motor? Due to the large motor plug, standard tools just don't work! We've taken on the challenge and decided to make our own. Machined locally in California to extremely high standards.
Works on both Shimano and DNP FreeWheels.
Flats are designed for a 23mm wrench.

It did the job!
I am not a good mechanic. But I knew I would have to take the freewheel off at some point . So when the tool became available, I got one. So today on my Radmini I pulled the wheel off just to see if a person with my skill set could remove the freewheel. And the tool worked great! It slide over the plug, nut and everything and went right in the freewheel. Good Job Guys!!

Too good to be true
Love it, previously we had to cut off 20 motor wires because couldn't get freewheel off and this worked perfectly. Great work Kyle! Bafang 750, stainless sunlite 14-28t

Tried breaking it
Since I do a lot of motor repairs, I've seen some really tight sprockets, had a few that I thought would never come loose, used a 6 foot breaker bar and broke them free without damaging the tool. Still holding up strong.

Update review
After the long wait I’ve used the tool a few times and it works well,, I did have to file the nut down to fit .. use a beaker bar for Leverage !!

Good Tool
Just used the tool to remove and replace the freewheel on my Greenbike USA folding Ebike with the 750 watt Bafang hub motor. I replaced the stock 14-28 tooth sprocket with a 11-28 tooth sprocket, the tool worked great and had a large enough inner diameter to clear the 18mm axle nut and all related hardware on the axle. The tool looks well made and it worked as advertised, cant wait to try out the new freewheel with its higher speed capability as in the higher gears ( sprockets) I was pedaling too fast with no resistance to keep the bike moving. That is my cadence was not fast enough to keep up with the motor assistance. Thanks Bolton for a good tool to make this job easy.

Tool worked with some work...expensive!
Needed this to take the freewheel off my Radmini. It worked great other than the fact that it wouldn't fit over the nut on the radmini motor cable without some light sanding of the corners of the nut. Took out my Dremel, sanded the corners down a bit as recommended from customer support, and this tool slid right over everything. Perfect fit into the freewheel. Very expensive but understood they've had to custom manufacture this.

Thanks!
Wow was I stuck as a DIY bike mechanic with basic tools. I searched for the hyped freewheel removal tool with a pass through slot and found nothing online. Finally on my recent search I watched the Bolton video on their freewheel removal tool for Bafang 750 watt motor. Again, thanks. I cannot wait to try it.
