Free wheel removal tool for Bafang 750...

It worked, but when i received the tool i could not get it to fit over the nut, the edges of the nut were hitting the inside of the tool. So i emailed AEEA 13 and was told to file the edges of the nut, which ibdid and then it fit. So if your tool and nut are a rubbing together file the edges of your nut..lol???

    Bfg750W FreeWheel Removal Socket WORKS!

Posted by JOCK WETMILLER on May 9th 2023

I really appreciate you tooling this special socket tool for this application. I had on problem though, but remedied it without very much destruction. The axle nut (the 18mm one) was just a hair too big, and I had to slightly grind the peaks of the nut to get passage through the socket. Fortunately it didn't effect the wrenching or torquing of the nut after FreeWheel change out. The EPOCH freewheel I removed of my ViTiLan i7 Pro, appears to have a larger Cassette locking ring of 12 teeth, that I can't seem to find a tool for it to possibly change out the cassette on that freewheel hub. Maybe you could refer me to where I could obtain one of those. It appears to be over 30mm in outside tooth diameter. :) Thanks for creating the proper tool for the job!

It worked after I filed the nut down as suggested by the manufacturer. But way, way overpriced. You can take a pork removal tool cut a slot in your side and it will work for a much, much cheaper price.

Slid over the wire just fine. I had to grind the the edges of the nut to get it over that.

    Wouldn't buy again

Posted by Nicholas Strother on Apr 13th 2023

When I bought this it was for a RadRunner single speed freewheel that failed. The website made it look like it worked for a single speed but it doesn't. No worries because I got it off with some elbow grease. I kept the tool in case i would ever use it. Fast forward to now. I tried this tool to remove a DNP 7 speed from a RadRover 6. The tool fit in the freewheel pretty perfectly. I cranked the cassette counterclockwise and it bent this tool to the shape of an oval. So after 1 failed use the tool is now garbage. I hope there will be another tool released in the future that is stronger.
