Little wait, GREAT experience!
Recently received mt 1000W Sabre stepthrough. It was worth the 6 month wait. I am very pleased with the ride. I ride trails about 3 times a week in the NC hills. The power is great for uphill venture, the ebike is very smooth shifting & when you need it the peddle assist works great. I am building up for a longer haul of about 30 miles. I go at least 10-12 miles each ride. It exercise for me at age 73. I would highly recommend Bolton Ebikes. Their crew is quick to respond to emails & they keep you informed of your purchase. Buy a Sabre today, easier mount & off, high end parts used on bike, brakes, gears, watts. I have the midwives unit. Laban W.

This bike will turn you back into a little kid.
My wife and I bought 2 of these vehicles after doing research. We are both seasoned Mt bikers . My goal was to bridge the gap between commute and riding the woods. The scoop. It is an urban assault vehicle capable of anything you can roll over. The frame is big and I am not. Thus the step through design is ideal. The power is amazing. 5 speed choices. On flat or shallow incline, you can lazily peddle and go 22 mph on level 3. It goes faster! I never use levels 4 or 5 unless going up steep. Too much ummff. The power is beautifully tamed by sensors and controls. After awhile on the bike, changing gears and keeping power present is intuitive. I can pedal on flats to 28 mph in level 3. 2 more levels above this !! The speed has its risks. The fat tires are great on the paved and the trail system. Run them high pressure. The brakes are adequate. The control module is great . The front suspension is adequate. The light is very good. We took them into the woods. The bike chews up logging roads. Down the single track, the bike is a handful BUT, it does it well enough to have fun. A lot of fun in fact. Strategically adding power via the thumb throttle really gives me the feeling of being integrated into this machine. Really fun. The seat is useless, go buy a real one. The bike is long thus the adjustable handle bar riser might need to go (I kept it, my wife did not). My verdict, no better machine for the money. Buy one and rock on.

Very nice bike
After waiting about 10 months my Sabre FINALLY (I know supply chain issues abound) arrived a now I have about 200 miles on it. Very good quality bike. It was worth wait as nothing else out there gave me most of what I was looking for (mid-drive/big battery/1000W/cadence/quality components). I did lots of research online. Plus there was a wait for most brands. Still getting used to it but did do 40 miles yesterday as I would say my first real ride. So heavy as compared to my road bike of course. Seems at this point 40 or so is my limit with the weight of the bike and my physical abilities. I have it at a 4 on the 0-9 scale. Will continue to ride and enjoy and adapt but wanted to put my 2 cents in. Nice quality bike. One suggestion for Bolton: Invest more time/ money/ resources into customer service. Not that it is bad, just incredibly slow to respond. (Email-2-3 day response. Can't call anybody unless you schedule it a few days out. I had a few q's and since I was waiting so long for bike, I had those days to wait for response. But that is something to consider.

Sabre step-through: Good bike with one major design flaw
The center-mounted kickstand prevents backpedaling when it's down. It is very frustrating as I have always backpedaled to lube bike chains, and the finish on the kickstand is already marred. I've ordered an aftermarket kickstand I'll install just far enough back to allow for backpedaling. That being said - The bike was very well packed and easy to assemble, using the assembly video on YouTube. And wow what an upgrade from my Rad City 3! The mid-motor makes a world of difference. It's a whole new experience. I ride about 100 miles a week for exercise on a very hilly island, and this bike is going to be a lot of fun doing that. I found it interesting that the paper instruction manual is branded by a company in Las Vegas called Eunorau, which has a similar line of ebikes. Whatever. I'd suggest using the video instead of the paper manual. It's a video to assemble the Foxbat but it is perfect for assembling the Sabre. https://youtu.be/e-IgxR9i-bs I would have given 5 stars but for the kickstand placement.
