    Love this bike!

I purchased the Discover 1 from Blake and he made the whole process painless and enjoyable. Kudos to him! I've put almost 100 miles on the bike and think it's very comfortable and well built. I especially like that the bike just seems to fit me perfectly. There are two weak points that need to be addressed though. The first is that I'm not fond of the Shimano gear set on the bike. I find myself ghost pedaling in 7th gear at 20 miles an hour. I think an upgrade to different ratios would make the bike more rideable. The 2nd issue is that the controller seems to overheat quicker and cut power to the motor than my other ebike. I wish there was a better way to vent the heat or upgrade to a more powerful controller. But this is a minor quibble on my part and only happens when I'm doing an extended hill climb and really pushing the controller to the max. Overall, I'm super happy with the bike and Area 13 is a great company to work with. Thank you!
