750 Watt, 175mm Dropout OEM Hub Motor Core. Upgrade your motor without swapping the wheel!
A tamperproof T20 torx bit is required to remove motor from casing.

If you want to reuse your existing freewheel, you may also need our freewheel removal tool.
750 watt motors USE A LARGER MOTOR PLUG! Larger controller with the appropriate plug required.
- Not recommended prior to installing The Upgrade Kit as some functions may not work properly.
- Threaded for single or multi-speed freewheel.
- Also plug and play for the Rover bikes with upgraded controller.
- This motor does NOT fit The Runner (single speed) bikes.
The 750 Watt OEM Fat Bike Hub Motor Core fits the following bike models:

City
Mission
ROVER 6+/ as well as any newer rad power bikes with semi-intergraded batteries

I still need...
these guys are very customer oriented, and I love that, but i bought a 750 watt motor and it takes a special tool to remove the freewheel and Area 13’s supplier has stopped supplying, so now I have a new motor and no way to install it. I can’t find one anywhere on the internet.

Excellent...
My order was filled and delivered without any issues. The parts work perfectly. Thank you for your service and I look forward to working with you in the future

Great...
My wife and I have 2 identical Rad Rovers with the upgraded controllers so I can give a very accurate review comparing the 2 bikes and the one with the new motor is a lot quicker. Only negative is that the replacement was on my wife’s and not mine. Thanks again Area 13 for all your help..

Really good...
I love your bigger controllers & motors and I can’t say enough good things about them.

Failed?
So far I can’t get it to work

much better hill climbing...
the motor gives lots better hill climbing power and acceleration however it is possible to get motor position sensor fault witch i think is due to the motor cable getting hot due to heavy demands of long hills and stop and start . otherwise works very well

Good replacement motor, packing could be...
So far, the motor is running great. My only issue is with the way it was shipped. The box arrived with a large hole in it with the steel shaft protruding. The motor was packed in loose styrofoam pieces which did not hold it securely in the box. Pieces of broken styrofoam found their way into the windings of the motor. It took me awhile to get them cleaned out, I hope I got them all. I was worried about hidden damage but the motor runs good so it appears to have survived the rough shipping trip. The motor shaft should really have caps or something protecting the ends so they cannot push through the sides of the box during shipping.

Radwagon 4 motor...
Easy replacement - the original motor was getting loud and rough after ~7000km - way more power with this new one! Great investment to keep the bike going strong!
