Technical Overview

The Pace 4 ships as a Class 2 ebike with pedal assist and throttle. It can also operate with the throttle unplugged and removed to comply with Class 1 regulations in areas where throttles are not permitted. Aventon ebikes are built to the IPX5 standard—protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This allows riding in light to moderate rain or through small puddles, but the bike is not waterproof. Avoid using pressure washers or high-pressure sprayers for cleaning, as they may damage components.
