Foxbat

My bike is amazing. So fun to ride. I have had some health issues but love riding and this bike is great for giving me that joy again. My derailleur was bent in shipping and they immediately sent me a new one. I would consider this above and beyond customer service. I am very impressed with them and have recommended to many people here in Colorado. Thanks guys.

I got it this morning, boxed nicely no damage. Pleasantly surprised how little it took to assemble. I put the battery on charge while assembling. Battery had 4 lights but wanted to be sure. Bike has fenders, lights and a nice rack. I filled tires to 10 pounds and took for a pedal only ride without the battery. I liked it from the first pedal and i am 57 years old! I came back and put the battery in . I took it around the block with pedal assist at various levels. Second time around the block i put assist on 5 and used the throttle only. I am a big guy 6'2" and 270 lbs. 35 mph in a block with zero pedaling . Very solid bike with lots of power! The company is great and helped me with my many questions ( sorry guys) I had never ridden and e bike and had no idea what i wanted. They pointed me in the right direction and answered my many questions. I sold my Quietkat Rancher to buy this. The trike was under powered with 6000 watts! this bicycle whips it badly with a lot less power. The reviews on e bikes are correct i smiled like a kid! Thank you for all your help and what i consider a great bike at a great value compared to what else i looked at ( a lot)

Bike arrived well packaged with only minimal damage. The rack was bent on the tail but was livable. Found screws in battery case had not been tightened as one backed out and almost fell out. Simply pulled with small Phillips head and used Loc-Tite to reinstall. Assembly was quite easy with everything needed being right there, including tools. Initially was disappointed with battery longevity until I started watching watt meter. By default unit comes with a 5 step pedal assist. At level 1 only uses about 27 watts, level 2 about 170 watts but when you jump to level 3, which is where I was using most of the time, jumped to 440 watts which drains the battery fast. I have yet to figure out how many miles the battery will last. I am in an area with some pretty good hills and find that level 2 works most of the time so anticipate getting a lot better battery life now that I have figured that out. Bike is very stable and has a nice riding position but is a little stiff. I have a Suntour suspension seat post on order and would recommend that that I purchased off of E-Bay as Kyle was out of stock. I would recommend this bike as it is well constructed and parts should be easily available as it uses Bafang motor. The only other thing I added was a different seat and a Luna Cycle smart charger to extend battery life. Nice unit!

This is simply a terrific bike for commuting to work or riding in the open country, paved, dirt or gravel. The fat tires work well on every surface and the throttle helps in more urban settings to get out of tight situations. The design is great and gets a lot of appreciative looks and comments, but most of all, this thing is a beast! All the power you need and can be customized further as you can see from the website. I now see it comes with the shift sensor and hydraulic brakes standard, both of which I want to add to mine and are essential. Get this bike! You will love it!

I've had mine for several weeks now and ridden on many sandy trails in Florida, on the beach in New Smyrna, and flat whippimg down hardtops. If traffic becomes too threatening I simply go "off road" along the usually ample grassy sandy sides of most biways and plow on thru. As others have written it is indeed a beast. I'm about 170 lbs and with some good pedaling over 28 mph is no problem and a real thrill. I'm also 73 and this two wheeled time machine provides a real blast from the past of good ole kid fun. Hard to believe its price compared to equivalent fat tire e-bikes. The Bolton brand rocks!

I hardly every write reviews. I pre-ordered my, Foxbat 1,000W Mid-Drive Fat Bike, and drove up to Grass Valley to pick it up on Friday June 19, 2020. Met Kyle, who was very genuine. Got home and put on over 100 miles on the first weekend. Love it, that I can be a "bike" on Strava" instead of an "ebike" just to have fun with all those people all kitted out in their slick cycling kit and expensive bikes :) Upgraded to the 48V / 21AH battery, because I never want to run out of battery power. This ebike is so cool all my daughters friends have been coming around to take it for a ride. I "removed" the speed limit by using password "1919" on the Bafang 500C display. I'm heading to Alpine Meadows / Lake Tahoe for a week and I'm so excited to explore the trails there. 2020-07-06 UPDATE, juts got back from a week at Lake Tahoe and the bike was awesome. Did 35 miles trips and battery only reduced from 10 bars to 7. A lot of Tahoe rides are fairly flat around the lake, Truckee River trail etc. but I had a 1,000 foot elevation gain from Highway 89 up to our cabin in Alpine Meadows, and this beast, just handled this and other steep hills with ease :)

I AM 80 YEARS OLD AND WAS GETTING TIRED OF CLIMBING UP AND DOWN MY MULE . I SOLD MY MULE SADDLE AND TRAILER AND BOUGHT THE FOXBAT 1000 WATT MID DRIVE. WHERE I LIVE THERE ARE LOT OF HILLS AND THIS BEAST EATS THOSE HILLS FOR BREAKFAST. I WEIGH CLOSE 230 LBS AND IT STILL DOES THE JOB. I HAD BOLTON BIKES INSTALL A 21 AMP BATTERY UPGRADE , A BIGGER BAFANG DISPLAY AND A LEKKIE BLING RING. I HAVE PUT ABOUT 250 MILES ON THIS MACHINE SO FAR AND IT HAS BEEN AMAZING. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG DEALING WITH BOLTON BIKES

Outrageous fun! I’ve rode a few E bikes last couple years. And when I ordered my foxbat from Bolton I didn’t know what to expect. Just by reading everything on the bike I thought this is exactly what I was looking for. I went with the upgrade on the battery and the custom gooseneck. Spectacular! Over and above what I was expecting. I’ve had it a week and a half and I’ve already got over 100 miles on it. You literally can’t stop when you get on it you just want to keep riding. And I do. I don’t know what more I can say that everybody else writing reviews for this haven’t said. I am 62 years old I have a bad back and every time I go out for a long ride I come back feeling like a million bucks. Kyle and everybody at Bolton are awesome people to deal with. Thank you guys so much for everything! And I will be ordering a bike for my wife in the near future from Bolton.
