How much power will this add?
We have dyno tested the stock RadRover 6+ before and after installing this kit. Peak performance at the rear wheel was 716 watts and 27.3nm of torque on the stock bike. With the upgrade kit installed we doubled power to 1,503 watts, and increased torque over 50nm!

Has not yet been tested with the "premium" headlight from Radpower and is not recommended at this time.

Great Controller!
This 2.1 upgrade for the RAD Rover 6+ is perfect! It gives this heavy bike the power and the features it should have had in the first place. The display is also bright and sharp with features that are not on the stock controller. Totally worth it. Just make sure you follow the settings recommended in the installation instructions, they are not set that way by default.

The stock controller is junk. This is a great one to replace it with when it breaks. And gives you a lot more speed and power

One little thing...
The upgrade kit is great. But there is one small glitch. The system allows me to set the assist rations for PAS 1-3 and 5, but not 4. It doesn't matter which value I enter for 4, I get 100% assist. I prefer 50% or 60%. Having only 100% is a problem for me.

This controller turned my RR6+ into a BEAST ! Also the ability to adjust and tweak the setting to gain the most out of the RR6+ is awesome!! I would highly recommend this controller to anyone who purchases a RR6+???? !
